PORTLAND, Ore. – Three new residences have risen on the site of a demolished 1902 duplex in the Sellwood neighborhood of Southeast Portland.
Located at the corner of Southeast 15th Avenue and Umatilla Street, the duplex sat on a 7,500-square-foot parcel with a vacant 2,500-square-foot parcel adjacent.

The property sold for $800,000 in 2015 to Everett Custom Homes Inc., and about two weeks before the sale was recorded the development company applied to demolish the home. The house was torn down in early 2016, and a large tree adjacent to the duplex was cut down as well.
Since then the developer has constructed three new residences on the site. No sales have yet been recorded with the city or county.
