PORTLAND, Ore. – The city has received an application for demolition of a single family home in the Northwest District of Portland.
The house, located at 2246 NW Pettygrove St., was profiled by the Portland Chronicle last month. At that time there was an open construction permit for a five story apartment building, but no demolition permit.
The permit was filed on November 21. The house is subject to the 35-day demolition delay, as it will be replaced by multiple housing units.
All existing trees on the site will be removed, according to the permit.
The demolition will be delayed until December 29, at which point the permit will be “OK to issue.”
