On Feb. 17 the house sold for $320,000 to developer Renaissance Custom Homes, a very active demolition and construction company that has worked in neighborhoods all over Portland. Renaissance Custom Homes recently demolished a house in the Eastmoreland neighborhood.

Exactly one week after the sale the developer applied for and received a demolition permit for the house. The 35-day demolition delay was waived due to the plans to replace the house with one new residence, cited as a three-story house with a tuck-under garage.

Renaissance Custom Homes, which advertises itself as “the largest builder of 100 percent green new homes in Portland, Oregon,” is registered to Randal Sebastian, listed at an address in Lake Oswego.

The permit for new construction, which the developer applied for prior to the property sale being recorded, is still under review.
