Six Houses Coming to Former Church Property

The Lincoln Street Baptist Church on SE 32nd and Lincoln was demolished last year, and is being replaced by housing.

The newly partitioned lots are owned by Everett Custom Homes, but they were initially sold to Portland Development Group, reported the Southeast Examiner. Records from August 2013 show a sale price of $1,050,000. The church property has been divided up into four lots.

The parking lot across Lincoln St. has also been partitioned into two lots.

Overall, six houses will be going in on the former church property. Two of the houses are nearing completion. One faces SE 32nd Pl. and the other faces SE 32nd Ave. They are identical in exterior appearance.

Two more houses will be built facing north on Lincoln St., and then two more in the former parking lot, likely facing south.

The Southeast Examiner reported that the houses are expected to sell for between $600,000 and $700,000.

Everett Custom Homes is registered to Victor Remmers, at the same Beaverton address as Dennis Sackhoff’s Urban Development Group (and his numerous other businesses).

Victor Remmers’ father is Wally Remmers, who is affiliated with Dennis Sackhoff through Arbor Custom Homes, as well as its parent company RES Construction. Remmers and Sackhoff are also cousins.
