In May the Bureau of Development Services received an Early Assistance – Zoning and Infrastructure Bureaus application on the property. A meeting was required between the applicant, UDG’s David Mullens, and city employees.

The permitĀ is for 69 apartment units, with ground floor retail facing Burnside. There will be 18 below-grade parking spaces.

The application was received by the city on September 30. There are still several inspections and reviews that must be completed before the building can be demolished and new construction canĀ begin.

The one-story, 1,680 square foot office building next door will remain in place.
