The property, first profiled by the Portland Chronicle in October, is owned by Metro Homes Northwest LLC, who purchased it in August for $295,000.

In November the city received an application for demolition. Because the lot will be split and the house will be replaced with more than one single family home, the demolition was subject to the 35-day demolition delay.

In place of the former home Metro Homes Northwest LLC plans to build attached housing on two lots.

Palazzo, who has been embroiled in controversial development practices in the past and has had a long list of construction companies registered in his name over the years, recently applied for demolition on a home in the Woodstock neighborhood.
